Never used it before I got in on my CurseMistress - and had a LOT of fun pummeling the bejeebers out of charr .

Other than that, none of my other girls have it yet and don't really expect to use it much at all when they do.

(I will say it is nice to watch when husband as warrior and a dervish-playing friend use UB as the front line for the rest of us casters on occasion. Not that they don't make a lovely, highly effective frontline as it is - just fun to see something different.)

Great Northern Wall in Normal Mode as a joke while helping a friend with a newbie character. Otherwise I haven't used Ursan for much of anything.

I don't use it, since it requires no skill whatsoever, I prefer making own builds and then try them, and make them work.

About the only class it truly benefits from Ursan is the Warrior & Paragon.

Other classes have better uses in a PvE party formation. I don't have a problem with people using it. However there is something to be said about some classes with low armor aggroing way too much with it. Some people seem to think Ursan makes you invincible thats obviously false, and it can put too much pressure on the monks trying to keep you alive for your stupid actions.
(REPEAT AFTER ME ELEMENTALISTS AND NECROS ARE NOT TANKS IN DOA HM)

You know who you are....

There are some obvious drawbacks with Ursan.
1) No Ranged attack
2) No self heal
3) Limited time frame of abilities
4) weakness to energy drain skills
5) No Res Skill
6) Limited Party Build selections
7) Other People who need their ego boosted will think your a bad player and need an edge.

Keep in mind there are also some advantages to running it.
1) Easy build to run
2) Good DPS
3) Your tactics for clearing an area becomes far more simpler
4) Ease of PvE party formation psychological stress on the group leader
5) It allows for more class party selection options such as a larger group of Warriors or even assassins into areas where more than one Warrior or an Assassin would otherwise, not be accepted. Thus No. 4 again.
6) Ease of PUGing (Yes some people still enjoy a good PUG once in a while)

Do I use it?
I will admit I have a few times with my Paragon & Warrior for fun, but since I've been focusing on building up my Mesmer I've been avoiding it. Mesmers take real skill to use unlike some other class options.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANOTHER Ursan whinefest.

Somehow I don't think these 3 pages were what the OP was looking for to include in an Ursan guide.

Ursan is worth leaving in the game for one reason. PUGS. I can H+H ANYTHING in this game except hm elite areas (Uw FoW etc). I look at Ursan in those areas as an IQ/skill boost for any pug I may have the misfortune of replacing a hero with. The skill has its uses and is no more Godmode than a well setup H+H team. C-space? What isn't c-space in pve? Very FEW areas in the game require ANY thought for which monster to target after the healer is down.

Sorry, but after 32 months and 9k hours played .. the only hard thing in gw is finding reasons to play or suffering through a pug (did pvp already .. it is also farming now). After I finish vanquish, drunkard and sweet tooth I am out of reasons

If you feel gimping yourself to kill monsters you have killed THOUSANDS of times makes you pro then knock yourself out and do things the hard way. Taking longer to achieve the same goal in an area you have mastered borders on stupid. If you feel it is fun by all means continue to gimp yourself but please stop with the superior attitudes.

I've used Ursan once. And only because I needed it. The only reason I don't like it is because it's boring. I prefer using my scythe, sword, or pet and using those skills.

I haven't even finsihed the quest to get the skill yet, which was a bit of a pain because it made Blood Washes Blood HM take forever.

The only time I can see UB being used is as a joke. Awhile ago we did a jokey Urgoz Run (Which no one had done before so we ended up aggroing the 150 wardens in that one room) with 2 monks and a few UB'ers (One of which was Scotty from Rawr xD). It was quite fun simply because the run was desinged for s&g's. The only time I'd bring UB is when I'm more into whats happening over vent than in Guild Wars.

Heh, I don't really care if its nerfed into oblivion..(hey thats a game isn't it) or kept the way it is.

I personally have never used, but I wish I did. FoW and UW clears took forever without it...whatever.

Give the puggers a cookie it doesn't affect you, its not your cookie.

What the hell? They both wield imba power as themselves, no need for ursan.
